That is bullshit. No one is insignificant.

Every body is worth something to someone.

I think it means you sacrifice for the other person. You make them more significant than your self. But does that really work?

Can't be in love and yet insignificant. You must be significant to the one who loves you. Anyway I'm no philosopher.

No it means the other person thinks you loose your significance as a person. That happens a lot to women.
